I am the owner, manager, mechanic, receptionist and chief custodian of Sunny’s Auto Clinic. I bought my first Honda Civic at 16, with the money I earned working the rides at Centreville Amusement Park. Obviously, at 16, I couldn’t afford to pay someone to repair my car so I took some auto courses at Central Technical High School. I found that I enjoyed auto repair much better than Graphic Design, so I took more auto courses. After graduating, I started my apprenticeship at Kane’s Performance, a hot rod shop! I went to Centennial College for the Automotive Service Technician Program. I alternated working for 10 months, and going to school for 2 months. After three sessions at Centennial I finished the apprenticeship program and I successfully wrote the exam to be a licensed mechanic.

I have been a licensed technician since February 2006. I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else!
